Continuing our countdown to Father's Day, GreenforGood Tip No. 3:
Give Dad a live plant. A tree is preferable but anything live can be used to make the point that plants replenish oxygen and help curb the effects of greenhouse gases. Plus it will be a great way to start a conversation about the effects of carbonization on the atmosphere, and might even get Dad to take up gardening (if he doesn't do it already).
And everyone likes plants as gifts.
