Kleiner-Perkins Award: An Innovation in Itself

Great idea from the venture folks at Silicon Valley's KP: An award for green innovation:

"There's enormous power in prizes," said Kleiner Perkins Partner John Doerr. "Innovation in green tech could be the biggest economic opportunity of the 21st century."

Doerr has a reputation for green himself, calling himself "about half green."

Let's hope he wasn't including his bankroll in that assessment!
